Six Degrees of Summer: Part III—Guest curator for July and August is Claudia Seymour, former president of the Salmagundi Club, widely collected artist, and formidable art collector in her own right. Ms. Seymour chose Robert, an ink drawing by Rebecca Venn of Kenosha, WI as Curators' Choice nominee and to launch the month. Ms. Seymour also selected two other Curators' Choice nominees: a watercolor, Julie & Dirty Having Fun by Jacqui Morgan of New York City, NY; and Alla Prima Self Portrait, an oil by Jean Marcellinoof New York, NY.
In addition to Wisconsin and New York, art in this calendar comes from Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Virginia, as well as Panama, St. Petersberg, Russia and Malaga, Spain.
Twenty-eight of the artworks new to the Barebrush calendars and three are repeaters.

Each of the artists selected for the calendar receives two (2) complimentary listings for each artwork included in this calendar. Three artists, indicated by asterisks (*
), are nominated for the Curators Choice Awards
. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. The top artist receives an additional prize.
Viewers can also vote for “The People's Choice,”
a poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artworks in The People's Choice win one (1) complementary listing for their artists. Winners announced August 1st.
