Happy Holidays -- Celebration of Art Beyond Nude: Faces, Places, People and More -- Guest curator, Ed Brennan, has been a member of the Salmagundi Club since 1973. He is an active and popular artist member and patron, as well as a former Salmagundi President and former Chairman. The Salmagundi Club was founded in 1871, as a band of congenial artists and art patrons, sharing art fellowship, food and fun in New York City and beyond. The Club was "organized" by official charter in 1880 as the Salmagundi Sketch Club. It is now also known as the Salmagundi Art Club.
Mr. Brennan selected the three Curators' Choice nominees for December, all portraits, launching the month with the April 2013 Curators' Choice winner, In Shadow/Self Portrait 2013 by Eddie Torres of New York, NY.
