Over the Edge -- Vaughn Lewis is an independent curator, former gallerist and art preparator in Chelsea, NYC. His previous Barebrush calendars are especially notable for their edgy aesthetic. When asked to provide a personal statement for the April 2015 art selection, Mr. Lewis wrote:

Shift our reading of the human body and allow us to inhabit your work.

Mr. Vaughn selected the spectacular Danza con el Sol by Tony Lee of Panama to start April.

Artworks making their calendar debut: 12. Nine artworks are being retired, having now appeared in three calendars: Her by Geoffrey Stein of New York , NY; Street by Seonyoung Kim of Woodside, NY; Woman of Color by Justin Austin of Graham, NC; "Solar Disruption" by Patrick McGauley of San Rafael, CA; Twilight On The Bay by Susan (SZN) Kraft of Redwood City, CA; Work #631 by Robert Copelan of Lynchburg, VA; RED HOT (final) by Rebecca Venn of Kenosha, WI; Jean Painleve from Halsman by Ilene Skeen of New York, NY; Jaja, costumed by Peter Millward of Stamford, CT.

Art for this calendar comes from 11 states, Panama and Canada.
