September Days -- For 14 years, guest curator, Margot Luftig, was Executive Director of the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit in New York city. She has been a member of the Salmagundi Club since 1995. Before her association with the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit, Ms. Luftig had a career in fashion merchandising. She is a graduate of NYU.

Founded in 1871, the Salmagundi Club is one of the oldest art organizations in the United States. Housed in an historic brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York City, the Club offers programs including art classes, exhibitions, painting demonstrations, and art auctions throughout the year for members and the general public.

Ms. Luftig selected Scatterbrained by Martin Danjue of NY to lead the days of September.

Artworks making their calendar debut: 10. Eight artworks are being retired, having now appeared in three calendars: "The Feast of St. Anthony" by Pacifico Palumbo of Colrain , MA; Julie Reflecting by Marie-Paule Martin of New York City, NY; Marie Elena by Jean Marcellino of New York, NY; Huskie by Gil Conradis of Melbourne, FL; Fedora by Kenneth Vonderberg of Milwaukee, WI; Afternoon Stroll by Cynthia Angeles of Washington, DC; Orchid in Bloom by Peggy Dean of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; Soldier by Martin Danjue of NY.

Art for this calendar comes from 7 states, Mexico, Russian Federation and Panama.
