February Friends -- Guest curator, Joyce Pommer is an artist, independent curator and the former owner of Franklin 54 Gallery (now closed). She has exhibited widely across the country, curated for NAWA (National Association of Women Artists), the Affordable Art Fair and other venues. Her works are in numerous private collections. Ms. Pommer last curated for Barebrush in 2012, and we are delighted to have her again.
Ms. Pommer selected Chasing the Wind (watercolor) by Alex Tolstoy of McLean, VA to launch the month of February.
Artworks making their calendar debut: 8. Art for this calendar comes from five states, DC and Canada.
