Spring Nudes -- Guest curator, Jeffrey L. Berman, is a master pastellist, digital artist, painter, photographer, and art teacher. His affiliations include the Pastel Society of America (signature member, teacher), Audubon Artists (executive board), Art Students League (life member, teacher), the Salmagundi Club (resident artist, teacher). Founded in 1871, the Salmagundi club is one of the oldest art organizations in the United States. Housed in an historic brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York City, the Club offers programs including art classes, exhibitions, painting demonstrations, and art auctions throughout the year for members and the general public.
Mr. Berman selected five Curators' Choice nominees for March: a pair of lively, small sculptures, Perfectly Naked 1, 2 by Christopher Smith of Philadelphia, PA; a boldly structural charcoal/carbon drawing, Leaning by Geoffrey Stein of New York, NY; an challenging drawing, expertly composed, Starechair by Gary Paul Stutler of Vallejo, CA; a lovely ceramic wall piece, Reflection by Marsha Karagheusian of Fort Mitchell, KY; and a exuberant pastel, Fish Girl by Ione Citrin of Los Angeles, CA.
Artworks making their calendar debut: 19. Seven artworks are being retired, having now appeared in three calendars: Within these Walls Series (III) by Victoria Coyle from South Wales, United Kingdom; Solitude by Chuck Miller from Corsicana, TX; Net by Tim Woodhouse from Texas; Here I am again by Chanit Roston from New York; Dressing Up by John Luce Lockett from Northampton, England; C-1 by Tom Morgan from Vancouver, Canada; and Fish Girl by Ione Citrin from Los Angeles, CA.
The art for this calendar comes from 15 states as well as Canada, England and Wales.

Each of the artists selected for the calendar receives two (2) complimentary listings. Five artists, indicated by asterisks (*
), are nominated for the Curators Choice Awards. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. The top three artists receive additional prizes.
Viewers can also vote for “My Favorite N*de,”
a poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artworks in My Favorite N*
de win one (1) complementary listing for their artists. Winners announced April 1st.
