Nude and Proud: A Celebration -- Guest curator, Claudia Seymour, was President of the historic Salmagundi Club in New York from 2007 through 2013, six years of great growth and renewal for the organization, and is a widely collected practicing artist. She is a Master Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and has been awarded Master Circle status by the International Association of Pastel Societies. She is also an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America. Ms. Seymour is a juried member of the Allied Artists of America, American Artists Professional League, American Women Artists, Audubon Artists, and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. She is represented by Handwright Gallery in New Canaan, Connecticut, J.M. Stringer Gallery in Bernardsville, New Jersey, and Vero Beach, Florida, and W.H. Patterson in London, England.
Ms. Seymour selected 3 Curators' Choice nominees for December, (starred dates in the list): 1* Leticia After Too Long (pastel) by Jean Marcellino of New York, NY; 17* Ruby (oil) by Seonyoung Kim of Woodside, NY; 21* Julie (watercolor) by Marie-Paule Martin of New York City, NY. All three of these artworks are expertly executed with unmistakable panache. Although they are of different in media and distinctive styles, they are remarkably similar in attitude: nude and proud of it.

Art for this calendar comes from 17 states, Canada and Mexico.

a poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artworks in My Favorite N*
de win one (1) complementary listing for their artists. Winners announced January 1st.
