Art, Life and Leisure -- Guest curator, Bob Mueller is an artist, writer, collector, and former museum president. He is head curator of the Salmagundi Club's collection of American Art. His deep interest in scholarship has given the Club greater understanding of its collection in context while educating membership through informational displays and Curator's exhibitions. He is an accomplished and enthusiastic regular at the Club's monthly Monotype Party which has become the Club's most popular, ongoing participatory event.
Mr. Mueller selected three Curators' Choice nominees for March,(starred dates in the list): 1* Dragon (look closely to see the complicated mythical creature expertly composed and rendered in acrylic and oil) by Mark Lightfoot of Oakland, CA; 11* Bottoms Up (perhaps the last word in supreme buff, in mixed media) by Terry Hinkle of St. Louis, MO; 19* Bath #4 (woman, book and wine -- an oil painting, after Degas) by Donelli J. DiMaria of Santa Fe, NM.
Artworks making their calendar debut: 10. Art for this calendar comes from 13 states, Russian Federation and Mexico.

), are nominated for the Curators Choice Awards
. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. The top artist receives an additional prize.
Viewers can vote for “My Favorite N*de,”
a poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artworks in My Favorite N*
de win one (1) complementary listing for their artists. Winners announced April 1st.
