May Array of Nudes -- With a background in the corporate world, working for high-end international companies in Paris, Sebastien Aurillon came to NY almost a decade ago to become an art consultant for galleries and artists alike. Currently, Mr. Aurillon is gallerist for Azart Gallery, Artemisia Gallery and MZ Urban Art in Chelsea27 Artspace. Mr. Aurillon also works privately for artists, mostly helping them to promote their work.

Mr. Aurillon selected three Curators' Choice nominees for May, (starred dates in the list): 1* Pedro Emergent (pastel) by Jean Marcellino of New York, NY; 3* At Ease (pastel) by Kenneth Vonderberg of Milwaukee, WI; 20* Turntable (charcoal/carbon) by Gary Paul Stutler of Vallejo, CA.

Each of the artists selected for the calendar receives two (2) complimentary listings. Three artists, indicated by asterisks (*), are nominated for the Curators Choice Awards. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. All the Barebrush curators have an opportunity to view and judge the art. The top artist receives an additional prize. Winners announced June 1st.
