Spring into Action—Guest curator for the Barebrush PhotoArt Nudes calendar, Sharon Way-Howard, had a great time selecting the calendar art for April and was especially delighted in her lead-off springtime activity photograph, Golfing in the Rough by Allan Teger, who is making his Barebrush calendar debut with this and his other “bodyscape” entry, Mountain Climbers.
Ms. Way-Howard is 3rd Vice President of the prestigious Salmagundi Club, where she serves on the Board and was the first woman to chair the Salmagundi Art Committee. She is an elected member of the Pastel Society of America, Audubon Artists, American Artists Professional League and National Association of Women Artists. Sharon is a Signature Artist of the Baltimore, Rhode Island and Missouri Watercolor Societies. Ms. Howard teaches various media at the Islip Art Museum and exhibits at national and regional juried shows, galleries and outdoor festivals. Sharon is represented by Gallery North in Setauket, L.I., Laughing Gull Gallery in Ocean Beach, Fire Island and Courtyard Gallery in Mystic, CT.
