PhotoNudes for a Cool Spring -- Guest curator for the April 2014 calendars is Charles Yoder, painter, printer and teacher. He teaches printmaking at the School of Visual Arts, is Vice President of the Artists' Fellowship Inc. and is Chairman of the Art Committee of the Salmagundi Club. Mr. Yoder is also a mainstay "Commander of the Presses" at the monthly Salmagundi Club monotype parties.
Mr. Yoder selected three strong photographs as Curators' Choice nominees for April: Gaea in Green by Anthony Gordon of Toronto, Canada; Repunzel by William Zuback of West Allis, WI; and Backswimmer by Michael Seif of Watertown, MA.
Artworks making their calendar debut: 9. Eleven artworks are being retired, having now appeared in three calendars: Sunrise Through Legs and Funny Seal by BlindWolf Photography, T. F. McDonald of Lexington, KY; Why Me, Shimmering Cheeks, and Reflective Bubbles by Bare Ass Art Studio-Gabe Edwards of Lutz, FL; Madeline's Tribe and Door 2 by Joseph Mays of Louisville, KY; El vitral - Stained glass by Gabriel Sanchez of Mexico City, MEXICO; Katie_W_4-09-11--6AB and Ruby_S_4-12-12--06AB by Dan McCormack of Accord, NY; and Tiny Bubbles by Dan Simoneau, ISAP of Kenosha WI.
The art for this calendar comes from 6 states as well as Canada, Mexico and Panama.

. Curators’ Choice nominees receive 8 additional complimentary listings. The top artist receives an additional prize.
Viewers can also vote for “My Favorite PhotoArt N*de,”
a poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artworks in My Favorite PhotoArt N*
de win one (1) complementary listing for their artists. Winners announced May 1st.
