Falling in Love with Photo Nudes -- Guest Curator, Gary T. Erbe, is a widely-collected master of Levitational Realism, his own brand of trompe l’oeil painting. Erbe (pronounced err’-bee) has exhibited extensively museums and galleries throughout America, Asia and Europe. Erbe received an unprecedented 6 Gold Medals at The Allied Artists of America, Inc. Annual Exhibitions held at The National Arts Club, NYC. He also received the Medal for Lifetime Achievement in American Art from The Butler Institute of American Art, OH and the Salmagundi Club Medal of Honor, NYC. He continues to actively paint and will be having a one man exhibition in 2015 at the Canton Museum of Art in OH and in 2016 at The Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington, NY.
Mr. Erbe selected the unusual and clever Breaking Out 3 (photography) by Peter King of Cochiti Lake, NM to launch the month of September.
Five artworks are making their calendar debut: #1 Breaking Out 3 by Peter King; #7 BW 5 by William Thierfelder; #18 Right Angle by Peter King; #20 Los Arboles Mueren de Pie by Tony Lee; and #26 Linear Curves by Andrew Cromwell.
