John as an Egyptian by Ilene Skeen
Title: John as an Egyptian
Desc: John put his shirt over his head and struck a pose which inspired me. Here he became an ancient Egyptian prince standing with pride in a field of cotton flowers, a symbol of fecundity.
The interference colors change depending on the light source. In some lighting , the atmosphere is a dreamy brown-purple and the ground is gold. In this light, you see it as blue and pink. John's body is painted in interference gold, copper & violet.
Some of the book cloth (flower stems and red bandana) is also reflective.
