Title: Ryan Being Relaxed

Desc: Ryan took this relaxed pose and it was perfect for using a combination of Cadmium Orange and Cobalt Blue for a two-color delicacy. This is the same kind of small watercolor which was the hallmark of my orignal watercolor series which I called "the barebrush," and for which I named this website. I did literally thousands of these watercolors starting in the mid-1990s. I sold about 1,400 over the internet at auction (unframed and mostly unmatted).

This one was created at Spring Studio, September 2010.

UPDATE: This image appeared in the NY Observer on March 21, 2011 in an article by Nathan Buchek.
