"Cristiana" by Mateus Costa March 2017 — BAREBRUSH presents Best-of-the-Rest calendar for March 2017. Barebrush offers the best art gallery and art contest, online since 2006. A total of 356 artworks were entered by 37 artists world-wide. Barebrush guest curator, David H. Reuss, Fine Art & Illustration, selected the art and chose the Curators’ Choice nominees. A total of 26 artists represent the 31 artworks for the 31 days in March. Three of the artworks were selected as nominees for the Curators’ Choice awards. Winners will be determined based on voting by the Barebrush.com curators. Viewers can see the Best-of-the-Rest calendar on the website.

About the March 2017 Calendar
"Three Views of Desi, 2015" by Jacqueline SaundersThe Naked Power of Not Nude Art -- Guest Curator, David H. Reuss, is an Executive Member of the Society of Illustrators. He has been a member of the Salmagundi Club since 1997 where he teaches painting and drawing. Mr. Reuss has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a Master of Professional Studies from Pratt Institute in Arts and Cultural Management. About his aesthetics in art he says:
Strength is what appeals mostly to me in art. The work can be any medium, style, subject or size, however in the end the work must have power.
