"On two chairs" by Chanit RostonDecember 2016 — BAREBRUSH presents N*des-of-the-Month for December 2016. Barebrush offers the best nude art gallery and nude art contest, online since 2006. A total of 918 artworks were entered by 80 artists world-wide. Barebrush guest curator, Sherry Camhy, Art Students League, selected the art and chose the Curators’ Choice nominees. A total of 31 artists represent the 31 artworks for the 31 days in December. Five of the artworks were selected as nominees for the Curators’ Choice awards. Winners will be determined based on voting by the Barebrush.com curators. Viewers can see the N*des-of-the-Month calendar on the website.
About the December 2016 Calendar
"Pink" by Seonyoung KimSpirit and Wisdom: Finding Peace of Mind for Year-End. #1 -- Guest curator, Sherry Camhy, is an artist, author and teacher. Her work is in the permanent collection of several museums and has been featured in art magazines as well as museum and gallery shows. As an artist-in-training, Ms. Camhy was class monitor to a world-famous anatomy teacher and author. Her latest contribution to art history is the publication of her lecture notes and drawings from his classes. About this gorgeous and impressive book, Robert Beverly Hale, she says, Ever since I started teaching, I have attempted to carry on the tradition of his knowledge, wisdom and spirit in my art.

Five artists, indicated by asterisks (*), are nominated for the Curators’ Choice Awards. Barebrush curators (past and present) vote on the Curators’ Choice nominees.
