Title: Sex Under the Arbor

Desc: These are grapevine beetles, two males and a female. The guys actually fighting each other over the gal. On my deck under the grapevine trellis. The beetles look like ladybugs on steroids -- males about 3/4 inch long, female slightly larger. It was a real battle and the one trying to get up got knocked away by the one on top. The intruder landed on his back and took about 15 minutes figuring out how to turn over, while the victor had his way with the gal.
