Desc: This painting was a challenge to paint, I just couldn't get it the way I wanted. I painted it and 2 others a few years ago and had trouble with them all. My life was going through a lot of changes at the time so I guess I could blame it on that... Anyway I finally finished them but when I varnished them the paint turned into an unintended crackled finish effect. It was kind of upsetting to watch as it took a few days for the cracks to run their course. I'm sure there is a lesson in there somewhere but, it still escapes me. -Tom
